Microsoft has announced that they will be updating to Nokia Camera for Windows Phone to Lumia Camera with the upcoming Lumia Denim update. Besides the name change the app will bring several new features and improvements to the camera functionality on your Lumia device.
Lumia Camera for Windows Phone will brings the next generation image processing algorithms to capture sharper pictures with more detail in both day and night. The update will bring the following enhancements
Speedy Shooting
Lumia Camera brings super-fast pocket to capture, and shot to shot speeds, to ensure you never miss the moment. This feature lets you take numerous photos with just milliseconds between shots.Moment Capture
The amazing new Moment Capture feature of Lumia Camera will makes it quicker and easier to capture the perfect shot. A long press of the camera button will activate this feature and instantly starts 4K-quality video recording at 24 FPS. Each frame is of high image quality at 8.3 megapixels, allowing every single video frame to be selected and saved as a still image. This functionality will be available on devices like the Lumia Icon, Lumia 930 and the Lumia 1520.
The Lumia 830 will also get the Moment Capture feature, but will be limited to fullHD instead of 4K, with reduced 2 megapixel per frame quality.

Rich Capture
This feature avoid the hassle of adjusting camera settings- just shoot the photo first, and edit and select the perfect shot later. Rich Capture also guarantees better image quality by adapting to any scene and capturing and merging multiple images together simultaneously, and applying auto HDR with dynamic exposure steps and flash settings – to provide the perfect shot with more details than ever before.
Dynamic Flash
You also get a Dynamic Flash setting, which captures images automatically with and without flash. You can control the amount of flash used in the shot even after it has been taken.

Availability
The new Lumia Camera will be available for Lumia 830, Lumia 930, Lumia Icon and Lumia 1520 as part of the Lumia Denim update that starts rolling out in Q4.
