[Windows Phone app] BBM no longer in 'beta'


BBM for Windows PhoneBBM for Windows Phone has been and has been released as a stable version on the store, dropping the 'beta' from its title. BlackBerry opened their proprietary messaging service BBM to Android, iOS and Windows Phone in order to raise the value of the platform.

BBM for Windows Phone version 1.0.1 also brings bug fixes and other performance improvements. The updated app also loads faster and an issue where the app would display in English even though the device was set for Spanish has been fixed.

BBM for Windows Phone has been built in the native Tile based user interface on Windows Phones. It offers users the ability to pin specific chats to their Start Screens for quick acces.
