Remote Desktop for Windows Phone is designed to get your work done on the go. Users can connect to remote computers and access full Windows experience on their smaller screens from almost anywhere.
Remote Desktop for Windows Phone version 8.1.2.15 brings the following new features and improvements:
- Improved ability to connect to your home PC by name: This release brings improvements to the way we search for remote PCs with a short PC name, such as “HOME-PC”. In addition to standard DNS lookups the app now support NETBIOS name resolution, so as long as you have network line of sight to a remote PC you should be able to initiate a connection.
- Resizable Remote Keyboard: With this update, the keyboard will now be scaled appropriately for your device, so that the keyboard doesn't take up an overwhelming amount of space on that small screen. Also when using Office 2013 and Windows Store apps in a remote session, the remote on-screen keyboard is automatically displayed when tapping in an area that can accept text input.
- Bug fixes and other improvements
