Today HTC has issued a press release in Germany announcing the upcoming availability of the HTC One M8 Dual SIM. According to the manufacturer, the One M8 Dual SIM will be available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland starting next week, for a suggested retail price of €799. That’s quite expensive, considering the fact that a regular One M8 can be currently bought for around €570 in most European markets.
Besides the dual SIM functionality, the HTC One M8 Dual SIM will bring the same features offered on the regular One M8 including the 5 inch full HD display, Duo UltraPixel cameras and the quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, all clad in beautifully crafted metal body. It will come with Android 4.4 KitKat which has been customized with the HTC Sense 6.0 user interface.
It looks like the One M8 Dual SIM will be available in only one color version: gunmetal grey. HTC didn't say if it’s planning to release the new handset in other markets, but it's unlikely we will see the HTC One M8 Dual SIM being sold in the US. Stay tuned for updates on availability in other regions.
