Asus PadFone X - Video Review

Asus PadFone X
The Asus PadFone X is an all-in-one device which will satisfy your need for a smartphone, tablet and a laptop. The smartphone is the core of this device which powers the 9 inch tablet when it is docked with it. If you want to be more productive, simply dock your tablet to the keyboard and you have a notebook at your fingertips.

The smartphone which is the core of the entire device features a 5.0 inch 1080p touch display, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel rear camera, 1.2 megapixel front facing camera and a 1.4GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

The device is coming into the U.S. market nearly 5 months after it was first announced, so it may not be in line with some of the newer flagships. But its $200 on-contract price buys you both the tablet and the phone, which is a pretty decent deal. Especially since the tablet has an additional battery when the phone is docked to the tablet.

The keyboard dock is an optional accessory, which will cost you an additional $99. Sadly despite it solid construction, the keyboard dock is quite heavy and doesn't include an extended battery for device.
