The HTC One max for Sprint is now receiving an OTA update version 3.02.651.5 which brings HTC's Sense 6.0 user interface while enabling Wi-Fi calling on the device. The update follows the Android KitKat update which was released for the Sprint One Max back in March.
Wi-Fi calling is great for people who still have plans that don't supply an unlimited number of minutes or during those times when cell reception in a particular location is less than stellar, as it lets customers place phone or send text messages over a Wi-Fi connection instead. Sprint started rolling out the feature to a limited number of devices earlier this year, and now the carrier has announced an OTA upcoming enabling the feature for another device, the HTC One Max.
With HTC Sense 6.0 you get the most streamlined version of the custom Android skin to date. You can learn more about it below

The update will be rolled out in phases, so it maybe awhile before it arrives on your device. If you have not received the OTA notification, you can manually check for the update by going to All apps > Settings > System Updates > HTC software update > Check now.
When you get the update notification, make sure your device is fully charged, and that you care connected to Wi-Fi in order to avoid unnecessary data charges.
