LG G2 for Sprint receives Android 4.4 KitKat update

LG G2The LG G2 for Sprint is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat update. The new software will bring several new features, improvements and bug fixes, which includes support for cloud printing and fixes an issue with Next Radio.

The update is being rolled out it waves, so it may take a few days before it reaches your device. When the update is available, you should receive an OTA (over-the-air) notification at which point you can initiate the download.

You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > System Updates > Update LG Software > Check Now on your LG G2. Users are advised to download the update over Wi-Fi if they want to save on their monthly data allowance. It is also advised that your battery is fully charged before you initiate the update.

Leave us a comment below if you are an LG G2 customer on Sprint and if you have received the Android KitKat software update.
