HTC One max for Sprint receives Android 4.4 KitKat update

HTC One max
The HTC One max for Sprint is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update The update brings Android 4.4.2 and the 2.09.651.1 software version, which includes the Sense 5.5 interface. Some of the changes include enhancements for multitasking and loading content, security patches for killing bugs, new profiles for Bluetooth, and the Cloud Print service which allows you to wirelessly connect the phone to certain printers.

The update will be rolled out to the HTC One max in stages starting Thursday, so if you don't receive the OTA update notification immediately give it a few days. You can also manually check for the update on your phablet by going to Settings > About Phone > Software update > Check now. Before downloading and installing the update, make sure your battery is at least 75% charged.  The update is around 344MB in size, so users are advised to get on a Wi-Fi connection during the entire process to save on their data allowances.. This way, you won't be using up any of your precious monthly data allowance by updating your HTC One max.
