HTC Butterfly S receives Android 4.4 KitKat software update
The HTC Butterfly S is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update. The update is being pushed OTA (over-the-air) and brings Android 4.4.2 along with the 3.06.708.3 software version.
The update will start rolling out to users today and you should receive a notification when it is available for your device. If you don't receive an update notification, you can manually check for the update under Settings.
The update is a massive 737MB in size and will bring all the new features and improvements available with Android KitKat. You will also receive support for Google's Cloud Print service along with some additional Bluetooth media profiles and security enhancements. Once you install the update your device web browser will no longer offer Adobe Flash Player support.
The HTC Butterfly, which was released after the company's flagship smartphone - the HTC One received the Android 4.3 update back in December.
