Apple iOS 7.1 beta 5 released to developers


iOS 7.1 Beta
Apple's iOS 7.1 beta 5 is now available to developers registered in Apple's iOS developer program. This follows the fourth beta of iOS 7.1 was released a little over two weeks ago. The update which carries the 5B103i build number includes a number of general enhancements and fixes over the previous releases. Details follow after the break

According to the official release notes, Beta 5 of iOS 7.1 brings usual bug fixes for Safari, some sync issues with iTunes and Bluetooth connectivity, adds “new natural-sounding Siri voices for English (Australia), English (United Kingdom), Japanese, and Chinese (Mandarin – China).”
This seed adds new natural-sounding Siri voices for English (Australia), English (United Kingdom), Japanese, and Chinese (Mandarin – China). 
The iOS device initially uses a compact voice for Siri. After you have configured a Wi-Fi network and have the device connected to a power source, iOS will automatically download and install a higher quality version.
Members of Apple’s Developer Program, will receive the OTA right from the device, but can also manually update/restore the IPSW from iTunes. Download links of iOS 7.1 beta 5 can be found over at iOS Dev Center.


So if you are a registered developer head over to developer.apple.com/programs/ios/ and sign in with your Apple ID. If you haven't registered for the developer program and wish to try out the latest version of iOS, you can register for an account ($99/year in the United States, or £60/year in the UK) and learn how to download and install the update on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
