LG G Flex coming to AT&T in the U.S. for $299.99, pre-orders begin on January 24

LG G Flex

Today AT&T has announced that they will be offering the LG G Flex on their lineup - the company’s first handset to sport a curved, flexible display. The second largest US mobile carrier will accept pre-orders for the G Flex starting January 24. Just like Sprint, AT&T has priced the device at $299.99 on contract.

Unfortunately AT&T has still not stated when the device will be available on sale. Since Sprint will be offering its variant on January 31, there is a good chance that AT&T will want to match that date. Check out the short video promo from AT&T showing the device in action.

The LG G Flex features a 6 inch P-OLED curved, flexible touch display which has a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution., 32GB of internal storage, a 3500 mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera and a 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 processor. Much like the LG G2, the buttons of the G Flex are located on its rear. The device will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on launch, but is expected to get Android 4.4 KitKat shortly after.

PRESS RELEASE

T-Mobile is also expected to launch the LG G Flex in the near future, leaving Verizon as the only major US carrier not to offer the device.
