Apple iOS 7.1 beta 4 released to developers

iOS 7.1 Beta

The first major update to iOS 7 has been in development for some time now, with beta versions of the update rolling out since the middle of November. Now we are another step closer toward the final release as Apple has released iOS 7.1 beta 4 to developers registers in Apple's iOS developer program.

The first beta of iOS 7.1 was released is November last year, followed by the second beta which came in December and the third beta which was released earlier in January. In the various builds of iOS 7.1 t there have been UI changes like bold text, a new dark theme for the keyboard, the possibility to cleanup OTA files to save you storage space, and indications that the update will fix miscellaneous bugs like memory issues and random reboots.

The update is expected to be released sometime in March, and we are certain that Apple will continue fine tuning the release before it is ready for public consumption.

So if you are a registered developer head over to developer.apple.com/programs/ios/ and sign in with your Apple ID. If you haven't registered for the developer program and wish to try out the latest version of iOS, you can register for an account ($99/year in the United States, or £60/year in the UK) and learn how to download and install the update on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
