Google Nexus 5 photography demonstrated

Smartphones continue to advance in photography, slowly narrowing the gap in terms of quality, compared to traditional DSLRs. While they still have a long way to go in a professional sense, smartphones are coming dangerously close to transforming the traditional DSLR into a professionals-only product.

Most smartphone snaps taken are done by amateurs or hobbyists at best. But what happens if you put a flagship phone into the hands of a trained professional?

Italian blog AndroidWorld has given a budget friendly Google Nexus 5 to a professional photographer Alexander Michelazzi for a month, and the results are quite impressive. Some of the photos have been edited by the built-in Android editor while others using VSCO Cam. According to the reviewers, the Nexus 5 is the best cameraphone in its class.
