As you may know, the Android 4.4.1 software update has already started rolling out for the Google Nexus 5, bringing enhancements and improvements to the device camera. Now it looks like the update is also rolling out to the Google Nexus 4 and the Google Nexus 7 2013 [LTE]
At the time of this post, there is no news on when the update will reach the Wi-Fi Nexus 7 or the Nexus 10, so it is assumed that the update may also bring bug fixes to mobile connectivity. The camera improvements offered to the Nexus 5 have unfortunately not been brought to older devices with the 4.4.1 update.
Its a little disappointing that Google hasn't even taken the time to bring the HDR photo progress bar to older handsets, and we know the Nexus 4 could have certainly used some of these camera improvements.
The update is being pushed out to Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 devices as we speak and you should recveive a notification when it is available for ytour device. If you do not want to wait for the update, you could consider manually installing Android 4.4.1 by downloading it through the following links:
Make sure you are running Android 4.4 build KRT16S and then follow these instructions.
