The Samsung Galaxy S4 for AT&T is now receiving the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software update. The update is arriving OTA (over-the-air) starting today. You can also manually install the update by connecting your device to the Samsung Kies software suite. Samsung Kies is available for both your Windows and Mac computer.
Along with the enhancements of Android 4.3, the update will make the phone compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch. It also adds Samsung KNOX to the device. This offers a number of applications that are fenced in to prevent a security breach. Tapping the icon offers a secure browser, contacts list, email and calendar applications.
The update is quite large at 781MB, so you may want to connect your Wi-Fi before you start downloading the update, and also make sure your battery if fully charged. These types of updates are usually sent out on a staggered basis, so if you don't get the update today, or tomorrow, it will come soon.
With the release on T-Mobile, all four major carriers in the US have offered the Android 4.3 update for their Samsung Galaxy S4 users.
