[Android app] CyanogenMod Installer


The CyanogenMod Installer is now available for download on the Google Play Store, allowing you to automate the process of installing the custom ROM onto your device. All the app really does is guide you through turning on ADB debugging and, if need be, switching your file transfer protocol from MTP to PTP. After that, the rest of the work of flashing the custom ROM onto your device is done by on your Windows desktop.

While the app is listed to support Android 2.3.3 or greater, only the following devices are supported:

  • Google Nexus S
  • Google Galaxy Nexus 
  • Google Nexus 4
  • Google Nexus 7 2012
  • Google Nexus 7 2013
  • Google Nexus 10

  • Samsung Galaxy S II
  • Samsung Galaxy S III
  • Samsung Galaxy S4, 
  • Samsung Galaxy Note
  • Samsung Galaxy Note II
  • HTC One
This means that newer devices like the Google Nexus 5 are not supported by the CyanogenMod Installer
