Google has officially announced that the Wi-Fi versions of the Google Nexus 7 (2012), new Google Nexus 7 (2013) and the Google Nexus 10 will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update starting tonight. Google hasn't said how long the rollout will take overall, but at least now we all know that it won't be long now.

Sadly the Google Nexus 4 and the cellular variants of the Nexus 7 don't have their updates ready just yet. Though Google has said that we can expect the update "soon" they have not given an exact date.

The news was officially tweeted out by Google at 8:52PM EST. If you own one of the eligible devices and you receive the KitKat update be sure to leave us a comment below
