Google Nexus 5 headed to Sprint on November 8th at $150 on contract


Sprint has confirmed that they will be offering the Google Nexus 5, which was unveiled today alongside Android 4.4 KitKat. Sprint will be launching the handset on November 8th at a price of $150 on contract for the 16GB variant. Pre-orders begin tomorrow. A software update down the road will make the Nexus 5 compatible with the tri-band LTE connectivity of Sprint Spark.

The Nexus 5 features a 5 inch full 1080p HD display, 16GB and 32GB storage options, an 8 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calls, 4G LTE connectivity, wireless charging with a 2300 mAh battery and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip with Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB of RAM.

The Nexus 5 will also be available on T-Mobile, but won't be offered on Verizon. Meanwhile AT&T is still to clarify if they will be offering the handset on their network.
