Purchasing a Moto X will get you an extra 50GB of Google Drive storage

The Motorola Moto X which was announced today comes from a Google company. So there is no big surprise that Google will offer some incentives for those who will purchase a Moto X. While the new DROID devices like the Ultra, Maxx and mini are treated to 6 months of free Google Play Music All Access, the Moto X users will get an extra 50GB of free storage on Google Drive for two years.

When you combine that with the 15GB of free storage you get a total of 65GB of cloud storage for your email, documents, photos and files. Considering that entry level Chromebooks offer 100GB of extra storage for two-years and the Chromebook Pixel offers a whopping 1TB of storage for three years, the Moto X deal doesn't seem all that great. The other downside is that you will have to choose the 100GB storage option at $4.99 per month if you fill your 65GB after two years have gone by and want to maintain your files on Google Drive.

We personally would have preferred the All Access deal over the Google Drive offer. What do you think?
