T-Mobile officially announces its 4G LTE markets

T-Mobile has officially enabled its 4G LTE network giving subscribers in Baltimore, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Jose, and Washington D.C. a chance to enjoy the carrier's faster speeds on their LTE capable T-Mobile devices. These include the Samsung Galaxy Note II, BlackBerry Z10 which will cost $99 with a Simple Choice Plan and the Apple iPhone 5 which is scheduled to launch on April 12th.

T-Mobile is planning on rolling out its 4G LTE network to no less than 100 million Americans by the middle of 2013. This will be expanded to cover at least 200 million 4G LTE users by the end of the year. The carrier is also preparing for future network development including the launch of LTE Advance service sometime in the future.

Meanwhile markets which are not covered by T-Mobile's 4G LTE network, can still access the carrier's 4G HSPA+ speeds. It looks like both networks will co-exist for sometime creating what T-Mobile refers to as possibly the fastest network combo in the U.S.
