We already knew the Samsung Galaxy S IV was making its way to T-Mobile but we didn’t know when until today. T-Mobile’s head of marketing, Mike Sievert announced during the UNcarrier Event which T-Mobile hosted in New York, that the Samsung Galaxy S IV will be available starting May 1.
Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S IV will be available in international markets by the end of April. So its good to hear that the customers in the U.S. wont have to wait long to get their hands on the new device.
The Samsung Galaxy S IV features a 5 inch Super AMOLED touch display with a 1080 by 1920 pixel resolution, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, and is powered by a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa core processor with 2GB of RAM. However it is likely that the U.S. variant may feature a Snapdragon S600 processor instead.
So if T-Mobile is the carrier of your choice, you can set your calendar’s to May 1 and get ready to enjoy the Galaxy S IV on the carrier’s new 4G LTE network on the brand new T-Mobile service plans.
