The Asus PadFone 2 is now receiving a software update which brings a few new features, enhancements and improvements to the device. The update follows the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update which was offered to the device back in January.
The new update carries software version 10.4.12.24 and brings some improvements to the station. Meanwhile the Wi-Fi connection ‘s performance and stability has been improved and the camera has improved HDR and brightness control features.
Other improvements include an updated Weather Time widget, email editing, updated contacts app, updated battery widget, NFC sharing in the Asus Studio, Asus Story photo album software included.
The update is being offered OTA over-the-air, and users will be notified when it is available for download on their devices. If you don't receive a notification you can manually check for the update by heading over to Settings.
