Nokia releases HERE apps for all Windows Phone 8 devices

Nokia announced that they would be rebranding their navigation and location apps to HERE and adding the ability to sync the apps with the HERE mapping cloud. Nokia has also released HERE Maps, HERE Drive+ Beta and HERE Transit app for non-Lumia Windows Phones users in US, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

The new HERE apps work together on Windows Phone 8 to help you explore and navigate through your everyday life. Discover and explore places around you and get there with walk navigation, voice-guided turn-by-turn driving directions or door-to-door public transportation directions. The info you need is just a tap away through the Live Tiles on your home screen.

You can download the updated directly on your device through the Windows Phone Store or by using the link which follows:

HERE Maps
Nokia Maps is now HERE Maps, featuring great offline mapping which allows you to download the maps in your location and use them later when you don’t have access to your data connection. This allows you to save your maps when you have access to your Wi-Fi and allows you to save your valuable data costs.
You can download HERE Maps for Windows Phone 8 by scanning the QR code on your right with the Bing search app or by clicking it.

HERE Drive+ Beta
Nokia Drive is now HERE Drive+ Beta with voice-guided driving navigation to help you reach your destination safely and reliably. HERE Maps also offers offline maps, which means you can get navigation without the need of a data connection.
You can download HERE Drive+ Beta for Windows Phone 8 by scanning the QR code on your right with the Bing search app or by clicking it.

HERE Transit
Nokia Transit is now HERE Transit. It’s the fastest and easiest way to navigate around your location by bus, tram, subway and regional train. You can quickly compare routes, see departure and arrival times and find out how far you need to walk to stops and stations. Available in over 650 cities, this is the only public transportation app you’ll ever need.
You can download HERE Transit for Windows Phone 8 by scanning the QR code on your right with the Bing search app or by clicking it.

Nokia hasn't released the updated HERE apps to the Windows Phone platform and it is frustrating to see that the entire platform has been ignored.
