Apple iOS 5.0.1 released, available to download


Apple has released the first update to their iOS 5 platform. This update (5.0.1) is primarily aimed at fixing battery life issues which have been affecting Apple iPhone 4S users since it's launch. The update also features multitasking gestures for the first generation Apple iPad, security fixes and improved voice recognition.

As you know the update will be made available OTA if you are running iOS 5, and you can get it by going to Settings > General > Software Update and following the onscreen instructions.
