The Google Nexus 4 remains one of the hardest devices to get your hands on, unless you are willing to spend the higher price it appears on eBay. The device features a 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. But more than the hardware, it’s the amazing $299 off contract price which users are drawn to.
Unfortunately getting your hands on one of these devices remains hard because of the extremely limited quantities available on Google Play.
After weeks of remaining off market, the Nexus 4 has finally appears on sale in Germany today, and is expected to arrive in the Google Play stores in U.S. and Canada later in the day.
LG has revealed that the cause of the delay is due to insufficient orders of the device from Google, who have allegedly miscalculated the demand using data from its Google Galaxy Nexus sales. It is however hard to believe that a company like Google could make a mistake identifying that a $299 smartphone with the hardware of the Nexus 4.
Hopefully LG will be able to keep to their promise and supply the required quantity of Nexus 4 handsets by mid-February.
