Google Nexus 4 8GB out of stock again

The Google Nexus 4 seems to be a great hit for Google and LG as the device sales continue to fair well. The 8GB and 16GB variants of the device were recently made available for sale once again through the Google Play Store, but has faced high demand with backlogs for the device reaching up to 10 weeks.

Now it looks like the 8GB variant which costs just $299 has been sold out again.

Meanwhile the 16GB version remains on sale for $349, but even those orders are now being shipped in 6 to 7 weeks which means your device will only arrive after December 25th. So if you are planning to get this unlocked handset as a holiday gift, you are out of luck, unless you spend exorbitantly to purchase it on eBay.

Meanwhile the 16GB version on T-Mobile still remains out of stock despite is price, which is $150 more than the asking price from Google. So if you are desperate to get your hands on the phone, and are willing spend near $600 for the 16GB model. The other alternate is to grab the 16GB model from the Google Play Store and wait to receive your device.

The Nexus 4 which runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean features a 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
