HTC One X receives Android 4.1.1 with Sense 4+ software update
The HTC One X features a 4.7-inch 720p HD touch display, an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture and will be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. Last month HTC released the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean software update for the device in Asia and have now made the update available for the CID_038 or CID_044 variants of the device around the world.
The update will also bring the updated HTC Sense UI, a new landing page in the gallery and improved battery management. Before you get the Android 4.1.1 update which is 364MB in size, you will be required to download a 1.6MB update which will update your software to version 3.14.707.24. Due to the size of the update we feel is it best to be connected to your Wi-Fi connection if you want to avoid overages on your data plan.
Now the only ones left to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update are the HTC One X users bound to carrier contracts. We hope that it won't be too long before the update rolls out to those devices as well
