Google Nexus 4 available on the Google Play Store in the US ...sort of...

Remember the Google Nexus 4 which was on sale through the Google Play Store awhile back? We wont blame you if you don’t, as the device spent less than a day in the store before it was sold out. It seemed like Google had very little stock of the device and we figured it was in favor of its manufacturer LG and carrier T-Mobile, getting first dibs at selling the device during the holiday season.

The Nexus 4 is a great device featuring a 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It even comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.

Now it looks like Google is ready to give us another chance at the device as they have announced that the Nexus 4 will be on sale in the U.S. Google Play Store. The sale is set to begin at 12.00 NOON PST (3.00 PM EST)

Based on our experience from last time, we would suggest you be there early and be consistent if you want to get your hands on one of these elusive devices and keep in mind you can only purchase a maximum of two devices each.

[UPDATE] Looks like we are having a repeat of last time with it being extremely hard for users to make a purchase... We advise users to be patient and keep trying, as your purchase should eventually go through...
