The Apple iPad mini with 4G LTE connectivity is now available for purchase in the U.S. through AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. Sprint was the first to have the tablet up for offer earlier today and was quickly followed by AT&T and Verizon. If you are planning to get your iPad mini on Verizon, you can only order the device online, and stocks are reportedly limited so hurry. AT&T has the tablet available both online and through their retail stores.
The iPad mini features features a 7.9 inch touch display, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls, optional 3G/4G connectivity and is powered by an Apple A5 dual-core processor. It runs iOS 6.0 and features Apple’s digital assistant Siri.
The iPad mini with 4G LTE with 16GB will cost $459, while 32GB will cost $559 and 64GB will be $659. AT&T is offering a 2-year contract with a subsidy allowing you to purchase the tablet for as low as $359.99. The tablet shipping dates can vary from a couple of days to two weeks depending on the carrier and model you want to order. Sprint users with a smartphone plan can add 1GB of data to the tablets for $15 a month or 100MB for $10 a month.
