Apple iPhone receives a discount through Sprint, Target and Best Buy

With a new iPhone is expected to be announced next month, and as you would expect the current generation iPhones including the Apple iPhone 4 and the Apple iPhone 4S. Sprint was the first to offer the discounts and now Best Buy and Target have followed suit.

Sprint is offering the iPhone 4S at a $50 discount allowing you to get the 16GB version of $149.99 with a two year contract. Sprint is also waiving the $36 activation fee which means you will get an $86 savings on your new iPhone. Rumors suggest that Apple will be matching Sprint’s pricing on the iPhone 4S, however we aren't certain when this pricing change will come into effect.

Meanwhile Target is offering the 16GB iPhone 4S for $179.99 $149.99 on contract while Best Buy is offering the iPhone 4 for $50 on contract.

While these discounts are appealing for users looking to get a good deal on the iPhone, it is important to remember that Apple will discount all their existing iPhones, once the new iPhone starts to ship.

If they follow last year’s trend the iPhone 4S will hopefully drop down to $99 for the 8GB model while the iPhone 4 would hopefully be available for free with a contract. So it would probably be advisable to hold out for a little longer unless you are desperate to get in on these deals.
