[Android app] Google+ updated (1.0.6)

The Google+ App for Android has been updated to version 1.0.6. The update offers bug fixes and a few new features. The main feature is the ability to share posts, which according to the Lead Product Manager of Google Plus, Punit Soni, is one of the most requested features for the app.

You can download the update directly on your device through the Android Market or by using the link which follows:

The update offers compatibility for 38 languages, a small improvement in notification reliability, easier to understand upload options during initial setup and the ability to create a new circle from the Circles destination.

The update also gets rid of some bugs like the one affecting HTC users by making copies of instant uploads. It corrects issues with the Huddle feature, where some users cannot see their name and instead see 'No Name' displayed. The issue with the notification count changing when the orientation of the devices changes has also been fixed in the update.

For those who could not create a new circle from the 'Circles' destination can now do so, and when new messages are sent, the hidden 1:1 huddle will now reappear. The update also has some performance tweaks and UI improvements to offer. Check out the features demonstrated in the video which follows.
