BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 demonstrated

BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0  for the BlackBerry Playbook may not be considered a major update but it brings some valuable features to the RIM tablet giving it a full range of functionality. The visual changes in the update are minimal. The menu has been changed a little and the visuals for the docked icons has also been updated.

Asus Transformer Prime - Hands On Video

The Asus Transformer Prime features a 10 inch display, up to 64GB of internal storage, two cameras and is powered by a quad core processor by NVidia. The optional keyboard dock expands the functionality of the Transformer Prime with a longer battery life, more ports and providing it will additional input options.

SanDisk has just announced a new 128GB Extreme SDXC UHS-I card which brings a new level of storage to users. Its aimed at the last cameras which feature burst mode shooting.

UHS (Ultra High Speed) translates into read and write speeds of 45MB per second.

Corning Gorilla Glass 2 announced, as powerful but 20% thinner

Corning recently announced the sequel to their popular Gorilla Glass screen protection and it was demonstrated at the CES 2012. Gorilla Glass 2 offers the same level of protection for your device and is 20% thinner. Newer devices will be able to maintain the impact resistance which allows you to tap, pound, drop or scratch your screen on your mobile device without damaging it. being 20% thinner means that manufactures can bring thinner devices.

Even the Huawei Ascend P1 S which took the title of thinnest smartphone during the CES will soon have competition for it's crown.
