CyanogenMod is clearly one of the more popular custom ROMS for Android. It offers stellar performance and has a large base of users and developers behind it. CM apps is not developed by Cyanogen, the company behind CyanogenMod, but it allows you to download and install some of its signature apps on any Android device.
