Corning recently announced the sequel to their popular Gorilla Glass screen protection and it was demonstrated at the CES 2012. Gorilla Glass 2 offers the same level of protection for your device and is 20% thinner. Newer devices will be able to maintain the impact resistance which allows you to tap, pound, drop or scratch your screen on your mobile device without damaging it. being 20% thinner means that manufactures can bring thinner devices.Even the Huawei Ascend P1 S which took the title of thinnest smartphone during the CES will soon have competition for it's crown.
