Sony Tablet S receives Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich


Sony is now rolling out the Android 4.0.3 update for the . This update following the Android 4.0 ICS update which was offered back in April, making the Tablet S one of the first Honeycomb devices to receive the update. Users will receive an alert on their device informing them of the update availability following which they can install it.

Sony is now rolling out the Android 4.0.3 update for the clamshell shaped . Users will receive an alert on their device informing them of the update availability following which they can install it.


Sony has reported that Android 4.0.3 brings a new UI to the tablet, and will offer the option of creating folders by using the drag and drop gesture. Apps can also be closed from the multitasking screen by swiping. The web browser has been updated and allows users to toggle between the mobile and desktop version of the site and pages can be saved and viewed offline at a later time.

Samsung Galaxy S II for T-Mobile receives Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich starting tonight

The will be treated to Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich starting tonight. The GS II for T-Mobile features a larger 4.52 inch Super AMOLED touch display, 8 megapixel camera which is capable of capturing 1080p HD video, 16GB of internal storage and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

The update will begin rolling out to devices starting 11PM Eastern (8PM Pacific) and will offer all the latest features and improvements you can expect in the latest version of Android.

HTC Amaze 4G for T-Mobile receives Android 4.0.3 ICS software update

The for T-Mobile is now receiving the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich (2.14.531.3710RD) update which includes HTC Sense 3.6 UI.

News of Android ICS making its way to the Amaze 4G was first confirmed by HTC in November last year. Later a leaked T-Mobile document stated that the latest version of Android would find its way to the handset on June 16th. While the update has been delayed by a few days, users will be glad that ICS has found its way to their devices.

News of Android ICS making its way to the Sensation 4G was first confirmed by HTC in November last year. Later a leaked T-Mobile document stated that the latest version of Android would find its way to the handset on June 16th


It looks like both carrier and manufacturer have ensured that Android ICS reached the handset on the proposed date.
