Motorola DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD receive software update

The Motorola DROID RAZR HD and the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD are now set to receive a new software update which Verizon is classing as a maintenance update aimed at improving performance and taking care of some bugs on both devices. The update was undergoing a soak test a couple of days ago and it looks like it didn't take long before it was deemed ready for the public.

The Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD features a 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.

The Droid RAZR MAXX HD is one of the top choices on Verizon’s lineup in the US and offers the users a rich feel with its Gorilla Glass display, Kevlar back cover protection and nano coating protection which protects your device from an accidental splash of water. Motorola reveals Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update plans for its devices

Last month Motorola revealed their Android 4.0 ICS update plans for their devices and the Motorola Droid Bionic received Android ICS on Friday making it the last scheduled device to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

Now the company is looking forward and have revealed which of their devices will receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update.
