Happy Seventh Birthday Android


Android celebrates 7th Birthday

November 5th is believed by many to be Android's official birthday, marking the date that a working beta version of the operating system was first released. While the first Android device - the HTC Dream (aka T-Mobile G1) was was unveiled nearly 10 months later, the birth of Android is still popularly celebrated before that.

While Android grows a year older, Google's mobile OS is in the midst of releasing its biggest update to date - Android 5.0 Lollipop. With its popularity continuing to grow, Android's dominance just continues to grow over the years finding its home with new users as the years go by.

Over the years Android devices have come in many shapes and sizes, and the operating system itself has evolved through various desserts along the alphabet all the way down to its L release this year...
