Microsoft starts rolling out new MSN website worldwide

New MSN across all platforms

As you know Microsoft has been working on a new version of the MSN website which was available to those who wanted to test it as a preview. Now it looks like Microsoft is ready to rollout the new preview to customers around the world.,

Over the past 3 weeks the preview has been used and tested by nearly 10 million of its 425 million readers. The new MSN portal is designed to provide a global, comprehensive perspective from thousands of worldwide, authoritative sources across 11 categories.
The new MSN is completely built from the ground up on Azure to provide massive, cost-effective scale (with more than 30,000 Azure cores for serving and 100 Terabytes of storage), reliability, and ongoing agility for a cloud-first, mobile-first world. Every single line of code was re-written to ensure that you have one consistent experience regardless of whether you are accessing your stocks in MSN Money, your favorite sports teams in MSN Sports, or your recipe collections in MSN Food & Drink. All of those experiences will always be with you across your devices.
The rollout should take around 72 hours to complete, so get ready to see the new MSN website appear when you visit it in the next couple of days. Microsoft plans to bring the MSN experience across all the devices you use, and started by rebranding their Bing apps for Windows and Windows Phone with the MSN branding. A new suite of MSN apps for Windows Phone were released today and we expect MSN apps to also make their way across iOS and Android in the coming month
