Earlier this year we reported that AT&T would be offering the Lumia 635 on its network. Now the carrier has confirmed that the Nokia Lumia 635 with Windows Phone 8.1 will be available on July 25, through the AT&T GoPhone program for just $99.99. Post paid customers can purchase the smartphone on August 8 for $139.99
GoPhone is AT&T's branded pre-paid service and GoPhone packages are good for 30 days of usage. It is important to note that the GoPhone purchased Lumia 635 will have limited functionality compared to the device purchased with a postpaid plan.
Starting on August 8th, the Nokia Lumia 635 will be offered on AT&T's online store and from the carrier's retail store, for AT&T's postpaid customers. Those purchasing the Lumia 635 with a postpaid plan will have a black and an orange back cover included with their purchase
With AT&T Next 18, you can pay as low as $5.84 a month for 18 months. With Next 12, your monthly payments for the phone are $7 a month. With Windows Phone 8.1, Lumia 635 users will have access to brand new features like the Cortana digital voice assistant and the Action Center notification center along with several other improvements over Windows Phone 8.
The Nokia Lumia 635 features a 4.5 inch Clear Black display with a 480 by 854 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel rear camera, an 1830mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU with the Adreno 305 GPU and 512MB of RAM.
Whether you buy the phone for a pre-paid GoPhone account, or for your regular post-paid AT&T account, the Nokia Lumia 635 brings you great value for the price.
