Microsoft updates Bing apps for Windows Phone with single sign on feature and more

Microsoft Bing apps for Windows Phone

Microsoft has released updated versions of Bing apps for Windows Phones which bring a few new features and improvements. One of the key new features in these Bing app updates is “Single Sign On“, which means you only have to sign-in on one app to use them all.

Keep in mind that the updated version is currently only available for those running the Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview, but it should make its way to all Windows Phones when the new update arrives in the coming months.

Besides the single sign-on feature, the Bing Food & Drink app updated brings Cooking videos, new Celebrity Chefs and the ability to choose the source of your favourite recipe.

The updated Bing Travel app will now allow you to track your flight arrival and destination time, based on real time data feeds.

The Bing News app update adds more content from the New York Times Blogs and now has a safeguards for explicit content. A warning notification will appear in the app notifying you of offensive language or objectionable content in select sources.
