At the I/O 2014, Google unveiled its first wave of Android Wear devices and one of them was surprisingly the Samsung Gear Live. Samsung already has its own lineup of smartwatches powered by the company's own Tizen platform.
The Gear Live features a 1.63 inch touch display, 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and weighs 59 grams. The Gear Live is also IP67 certified for water and dusts resistance, so you dont have to worry if you have an active lifestyle.
Android Wear devices are powered by voice commands, allowing you to say "OK Google" to ask questions. You can also use this command to initiate tasks such as send texts, set reminders or take notes.
The Gear Live can be used with any Smartphone running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and above. Visit g.co/WearCheck from your phone to see if it's compatible.
The device is now available for purchase through the Google Play Store and costs $199.00. You can select between the Black Titan and the White Gold models and the device will be shipped out to you on July 8th.
