Nokia Lumia 635 now available for pre-order in the US through Microsoft Store

Nokia Lumia 635

The Nokia Lumia 635 is now available for pre-order in the U.S. through the Microsoft Store. You can select between the Lumia 635 for AT&T, which is priced at $99, or the Lumia 635 for T-Mobile which will cost you $129.  Both phones are free of contracts and costs lesser than the $189 retail price of the smartphone.

The Lumia 635 is the cheapest LTE-enabled Windows Phone to date. It features a 4.5 inch ClearBlack display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5MP rear camera, and a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 512MB of RAM.

The handset runs Windows Phone 8.1, the newest version of Microsoft's mobile operating system which introduces features like Cortana, a digital voice assistant similar to Google Now and Siri and the Action Center, which manages all you device notifications such as emails, calls and messages. Windows Phones also offer Microsoft and Nokia services, such as the HERE Maps and Drive navigation suite and 7GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive.

The listing on the Lumia 635 says that the device will "ship when available" - so there is no way on knowing exactly when the device will land. In any case, the handset should be launched starting the coming months. Customers will likely also find the new device in AT&T and T-Mobile stores. MetroPCS also announced that it would offer the Lumia 635 later this year. If you want to pre-order the Lumia 635, you can do so using the following link
