Not too long ago, we learnt that the Microsoft team may be delaying the release of their file manager for Windows Phone until June. Luckily it seems the team didn't take as long as they had expected, as the they have released Files for Windows Phone to the Windows Phone Store. Files for Windows Phone, is straightforward, and functional. You can access and manage user files on your Windows Phone, or microSD card if you device is so equipped.
You can download the app directly on your device through the Windows Phone Store or by using the link which follows:

With Files for Windows Phone, you can browse through, search, and launch files on your device. You can also share parts of, or multiple files. Everything else, like creating, moving, copying, renaming, organizing and deleting files is also straight forward.
About the only thing you cannot browse through are the device’s system files like you can on other Windows machines. Hopefully Microsoft will eventually integrate OneDrive cloud service with files for a more comprehensive experience.
