Starting Monday, the Android 4.4.2 software update was made available to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on Verizon through Samsung Kies. Those who didn't download the update by syncing their handsets to Samsung;s PC suite can now download the latest version N900VVRUCNC4 of Android 4.4 KitKat (over-the-air) OTA.
The KitKat update has already rolled out to Galaxy Note 3 owners on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, leaving Verizon as the last major U.S. carrier to offer the update. Since these updates are sent out OTA on a staggered basis, it maybe awhile before the new software reaches your Galaxy Note III. However, you can always manually check for the update by heading to Settings > About Phone on your device.
Before downloading and installing the update, users are advised to make sure that their device is fully charged and that they are connected to Wi-Fi in order to avoid unnecessary data costs.

Verizon has yet to post a changelist for the Android 4.4.2 update, so once you've installed it on your Samsung Galaxy Note 3, feel free to leave us a comment and let us know the new features you have discovered on your device after the update.
