It looks like the LG G3 is shaping up to be one of the hottest handsets of 2014, at least if these screenshots are to be believed. The upcoming flagship smartphone from LG is shown in what looks like a brushed metal finish, wish a sleek design and beautiful curves.
As you may know, LG has scheduled a press event on May 27, where the company is expected to unveil their next flagship smartphone. The device is expected to feature a 5.5 inch touch display with a breathtaking 1440 by 2560 pixel (Quad HD) resolution, a 13 megapixel optically-stabilized (OIS) camera with a two-tone flash and a quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM.
The leaked press renders show a device with an excellent screen-to-body ratio and a huge display in a relatively compact chassis. While we would love for LG to use metal on their design, it may likely end up being a faux metal effect on a polycarbonate body. The rear buttons have also had a makeover with a more premium finish almost resembling a speaker grill. The design is likely meant to make it easier for your fingers to interact with the buttons. While the right side of the camera houses the two-tone LED flash, the left side has a mysterious cutout which could be a sensor of some sort..
What do you think of the alleged LG G3 press renders? Would you consider purchasing your next smartphone from LG?
