[Android app] Spotify updated with dark theme and new features

The Spotify for Android app has been updated with a darker theme, Your Music collection, improved Browse feature and more. With Spotify for Android, you get access to a large catalog of music, where you can listen to artists and albums, or create your own playlist of your favorite songs.

The update is being rolled out in stages, so it should be available on your Android device through the Google Play Store eventually. Meanwhile you can download the latest version and find out what's new after the break.

The darker theme makes Spotify for Android, look visually similar to the recently updated Spotify for iOS and Spotify for desktops. Along with the darkened theme, users will also notice new typography and rounded iconography on the latest version of Spotify.

The second big feature that’s rolling out with this new Spotify update is Your Music. Just like it sounds, Your Music allows you to save songs and albums to make it easier to listen to them in the future.

Finally, Spotify says that it’s improved its Browse feature, which helps users find music to listen to based on the mood that they're in.
