The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for T-Mobile is reportedly receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update. The update is 495MB in size and brings Android 4.4.2 with the N900TUVUCNB4 build number, along with an updated TouchWiz, in addition to tweaks and various changes.
With the update Galaxy Gear owners will have to update Gear Manager to version 1.6 to make it compatible with their Note 3. Music album art will be displayed on the lock-screen. Location services are integrated in a new location menu. Wireless printing support is added. New Emoji icons are available, and the option to switch between Messages and Hangouts as your default messaging app is now included.
You can review more details of the Android 4.4.2 update on Samsung's official Customer Consultant Guide for the Galaxy Note 3, which we have attached in the following presentation.
The update will arrive on your device OTA (over the air) and you should receive an alert when it is available for your device. Once you receive the notification, make sure your device has the adequate battery charge and that you are connected to Wi-Fi if you want to save on your data allowance.
