Windows Phone 8.1 Action Center shown on video

We expect to get our first official look at Windows Phone 8.1 at the BUILD developer conference in April, but we have already seen a huge list of features from the upcoming update thanks to the Windows Phone 8.1 SDK. These features include the long awaited Action Center, Cortana voice assistant, Swype keyboard, better multi-tasking, burst shots for the camera, Internet Explorer 11 with password manager, minor UI enhancements and more.

Today, we get our first glimpse of how the Action (Notification) Center in works, thanks to a live video. The Action Center is quite similar to the notification center on iOS and Android, but that means Windows Phone users will have a sense of familiarity when they switch to the platform.

As things stand, the Windows Phone 8.1 update is expected to be made available for all current Windows Phone 8 devices, including the entry level
