LG G2 running Jelly Bean and KitKat compared, shows performance improvements

LG G2LG recently started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat software update to the LG G2. Since these roll-outs generally occur in phases, it isn't expected to arrive for UK based users until mid-March.

The update will bring several new features and improvements to LG's flagship smartphone, but most interestingly the update is expected to greatly improve the performance of the smartphone.

According to LG, the upgrade to Android 4.4.2 on the G2 provides a 17% increase in performance when you run applications. Battery performance is also expected to improve along with the overall performance of the device.

The upgrade will provide faster web browsing, more efficient playing of media and will even include Google Cloud Printer for wireless printing, whether via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. LG did some internal testing and provided a video on just how much faster you can expect your G2 to get once it receives the Android 4.4 KitKat update.
