Korean manufacturer LG has officially announced the LG G Pro 2, the successor to the LG Optimus G Pro. The handset will however only be unveiled at MWC, which is set to take place in Barcelona from February 24th to February 27th.
The LG G Pro 2 is expected to feature a 6 inch full 1080p HD display and powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM.The announcement made by LG on Monday merely revealed that the phone will be introduced next month. LG did not discuss pricing or list the specs of the phone in its release.
The LG Optimus G Pro was announced during last year's MWC and was the last flagship from the company to feature the 'Optimus' name. The Optimus G Pro was the first handset from LG to have a display larger than 5 inches with its 5.5 inch screen.
LG has since launched its current flagship the LG G2 and the LG G Flex with its curved display. Would you be interested in purchasing the LG G Pro 2 or would you rather wait for the company to release the LG G3?
